Water Bottle Treat Holder

Very plain and undecorated, but I'll fix that. I just wanted to share the cut file. I made some adjustments since taking this picture. I put two of them on one mat for the George cartridge, one on a mat for the Plantin cartridge, some extra pages for helping decorating, and the file has one turned sideways using George so you can change the mat to 6x12 for Baby Bug users. Hope you like it.

Second Shot at 2Sketches4You

I knew I wanted to improve upon my card, so I went to the store and bought a set of halloween stamps from Heidi Grace. The set was perfect. The sentiment was the right size, the pumpkins were larger and have more character, the web is bigger and the spiders have eyes. I love this set. So here is my new and improved card. All paper is Bazzill and stamps are Heidi Grace.

Here is my card for this weeks PaperTake Weekly sketch challenge - Katherina's sketch #5. All cardstock and ink is Bazzill, Asian coin stamps are Inkadinkadoo and the sentiment stamp is Cloud 9 Designs. Thanks for looking!

2 Sketches Challenge

Here is my card for the 2sketches4you sketch this week. I don't know why I saw spiders when I looked at the polka dots in the sketch. Oh well, I like it. The spider stamp in the upper left corner is raised off the card with pop dots. All the cardstock is Bazzill, the flowers are all Prima. The witch and sentiment stamps are Hero Arts, the spider it is from Hampton Art Stamps and the pumpkins and web stamp are from Fiskars.

Non-Card Challenge

Here is my Non-Card for the challenge over at Paper Pretties. The challenge is to make anything but a card. I picked up this paper mache house from the clearance section of Michaels for $2. It is 8 inches tall by 6 inches wide. I kept it super simple as you can see. I used Heidi Grace paper, a couple ribbons and rinestone letters from MAMBI. Thanks for looking. Lora

Camping in Julian

Sorry no posting this weekend. The whole family went camping in Julian this weekend. It was so much fun. The kids all had a blast. We went with about 60 people from Nathan's (my 8 year old) Cub Scout Pack. This was the first time the whole family went tent camping. My husband and I usually take our older two kids camping seperately. I've camped with Nathan and Marty has camped with Emily (my 11 year old). Olivia my 4 year old was in heaven. She spent the whole time playing with Cicada's in the dirt, she only came near me when she was hungry or had to potty. Nathan looked like "PigPen" from the Peanuts. He was able to earn a couple belt loops and the boys did a service project while we were there. I didn't get any sleep eventhough I was warm and comfy all night. I just couldn't sleep which leaves me creatively drained now that I'm home, so maybe tomorrow.

Help with the sentiment...

I need a little help with the sentiment on this one. I don't want the standard Happy Birthday. I have not made the card yet and I have until September to finish it. This will be for my Sister-in-Law's birthday, 39th I believe. She loves wolves. I stamped the trees and grass in greens and brown, masked a circle in the sky and chalked the sky dark blue, then I chalked over the whole scene with black chalk, lifted off my moon mask and adhered the wolf stamped image (which I used watercolor pencils and cut out) with pop dots. It's the best I could do without knowing what the heck I'm doing. If you have any ideas to make the image better please let me know. No offense will be taken (as long as you use your nice words).

Double Duty

Okay, is this cheating? Here is the card I made that fits two challenges for today. Cute Card Thursday's challenge was to make a card with patterned paper and Papertake Weekly's challenge was to make "One for the Fellas." This card covers them both. Cardstock is Bazzill from the Places We Love collections and the patterned paper is DCWV Summer Glitter Stack although neither of the papers have any glitter on them.

Card for our Cubmaster

I made a card almost identical to this one for my son's Cubmaster. The pack had it's graduation ceremony last night. My son Nathan moved up from a wolf cub to a bear cub. Our beloved Cubmaster is moving down in position to a den leader. He put sooo much time and energy into the pack that he was missing out on why he had his son join Cub Scouts to begin with. Whenever I make a card I almost always make 2 or 3 just like it. On the one I gave our Cubmaster, the ribbon was wrapped around the card behind the fleur de lis and then tied. Cardstock is from Bazzill and the patterned paper is K & Co. Cub Scout paper pack, and the fleur-de-lis stamp is by Inkadinkadoo. Thanks for looking.

Splitcoast Sketch Challenge

Here is my card for SC178. I love sketches, either for cards or scrapbook pages. I have a huge 3 ring binder full of sketches I've found all over the internet. Anyway..back to the card. I kept it really simple of course. Cardstock is all Bazzill, stamp is a clear set from Heidi Grace and the rinestones are from Me & My Big Ideas, it's a part of the inside of a peace sign. I bought the pack of 3 peace signs so I could use the circles, now I'm finding ways to use the insides. Thanks for looking.

Almost Mid-Year Resolution

I've made a resolution....To start blogging more. I have a personal blog so family can see what my kids are up to and I have a website for the same reason and now I have this blog too. I hadn't given out this blog address before this week, and I assumed no one would ever stop by to see it. I added a counter (started at my birth year) and in one day the counter went up over 20 hits. Oh My Goodness. People do stop by. So now I'm resolving to add more to it and make it an aweome blog. So please comment and tell me what else it needs. Thanks everyone.

Beate's Weekend Challenge

Here is the card I made for Beate's Weekend Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. This one is super simple. Because it is intended for a my son's (male) baseball coach, I didn't want any frou frou stuff on it. I used Bazzill cardstock, PP is the backside of the defining baseball paper, stamp is from Fiskars "batter up" and brads from Making Memories. Thanks for looking.

Cute Card Thursday challenge

Here is the card I made for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday . The card is based on a sketch by Katharina. I used cardstock from Bazzill, the stamp is from Fiskars "batter up", I can't remember who makes the patterned paper, but it is called Defining Baseball and is still available at Mouse Memories . The brad is front HOTP and the twill/canvas baseball sticker is from Paper House productions. Thanks for stopping by.

Papertake Weekly Challenge

Here is my card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge for Monday, May 19. The challenge is to make a card using katharina's sketch #3. I used all Bazzill cardstock and the papers are from DCWV Summer Glitter Stack. If I had a surfboard stamp, I would have used that, but I used my Cricut machine and my pens instead. The starfish are from Cricut's Dreams Come True cartridge. Thanks for looking.

Bowling Party Invitations

I designed these bowling cards myself using the cricut design studio and cut them with the cricut machine of course. They are for my daughters 11th birthday. Here is the cut file: http://www.mediafire.com/?xmzybw4xmlz

First Communion Card

Talk about super quick! I cut the congratulations and the red oval with the cricut machine, glued the Jolee's bible 3d sticker to the front and wrote "Congratulations on the most sacred of new beginnings." on the inside. This was for my neighbor and it was also her baptism.

Indie Skull

I made this skull using the Cricut design software and the George cartridge.

Easter Cards

I made a few of these quick cards for Easter using my Cricut machine.
