Honey Bees
I made this card based on a sketch from Katharina for High Hopes Stamps guest designer call. I hope you all like it, I do. All the supplies used are from PTI except the swarovski crystal. The cardstock colors are kraft, summer sunrise and white, ink colors are black, summer sunrise, spring moss and plum pudding. I used my cricut machine to cut the honeycomb pattern in the white cardstock.Valentine's Day "Love Quilt"
I made this card for my children this Valentine's Day. My husband gave me the best Valentine's gift a girl could ask for....he took our three kids and left town for 4 days to see his parents. I was certainly asked to go along, but the thought of 4 days alone to stamp and scrap all I want until all hours of the night was just too good to pass up. So, I made this card and mailed it to them.Supplies used.... Cardstock: PTI - colors are kraft, pure poppy and sweet blush.
Stamps are all from one set by Inkadinkado called heartful of love, I used 12 of the 23 stamps in the set. Ink used is versafine onyx black.
New Home Card
Here is a card I put together for my brother. He bought his first home recently, in Ohio. Now he'll never move back to California. I used....cardstock by Bazzill and PTI, stamps and ribbon are also PTI. None of the stamped images are layered, I just stamped a scene on one piece of white cardstock and colored it in with markers. I added Swarovski crystals of course.Another Halloween Card

Here is just one more halloween card I found on my desk while cleaning up. This is a really simple card with Bazzill cardstock, just two pieces of patterned paper by K & Company, and two stamps from Stampendous. Oh, and don't forget the bling, three Swarovski crystals in the corner. I used my Cricut machine to make the scalloped ovals.
Halloween Pop Up Card
I know it's a little late to be showing a halloween card, but I just came across a few cards I had not yet taken pictures of or posted here. I used Bazzill cardstock and the Cricut machine for the tombstone and ghost. The stamps are: Martha Stewart - polka dots, Heidi Grace - spiderweb and "Happy Halloween", I'll have to search my stash for the rest of the stamps to fill you in on who makes them, they seem to have gom MIA.

Second Shot at 2Sketches4You
I knew I wanted to improve upon my card, so I went to the store and bought a set of halloween stamps from Heidi Grace. The set was perfect. The sentiment was the right size, the pumpkins were larger and have more character, the web is bigger and the spiders have eyes. I love this set. So here is my new and improved card. All paper is Bazzill and stamps are Heidi Grace.Thursday, June 26, 2008

Double Duty
Okay, is this cheating? Here is the card I made that fits two challenges for today. Cute Card Thursday's challenge was to make a card with patterned paper and Papertake Weekly's challenge was to make "One for the Fellas." This card covers them both. Cardstock is Bazzill from the Places We Love collections and the patterned paper is DCWV Summer Glitter Stack although neither of the papers have any glitter on them. Card for our Cubmaster

I made a card almost identical to this one for my son's Cubmaster. The pack had it's graduation ceremony last night. My son Nathan moved up from a wolf cub to a bear cub. Our beloved Cubmaster is moving down in position to a den leader. He put sooo much time and energy into the pack that he was missing out on why he had his son join Cub Scouts to begin with. Whenever I make a card I almost always make 2 or 3 just like it. On the one I gave our Cubmaster, the ribbon was wrapped around the card behind the fleur de lis and then tied. Cardstock is from Bazzill and the patterned paper is K & Co. Cub Scout paper pack, and the fleur-de-lis stamp is by Inkadinkadoo. Thanks for looking.
Splitcoast Sketch Challenge

Here is my card for SC178. I love sketches, either for cards or scrapbook pages. I have a huge 3 ring binder full of sketches I've found all over the internet. Anyway..back to the card. I kept it really simple of course. Cardstock is all Bazzill, stamp is a clear set from Heidi Grace and the rinestones are from Me & My Big Ideas, it's a part of the inside of a peace sign. I bought the pack of 3 peace signs so I could use the circles, now I'm finding ways to use the insides. Thanks for looking.

Beate's Weekend Challenge
Here is the card I made for Beate's Weekend Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. This one is super simple. Because it is intended for a my son's (male) baseball coach, I didn't want any frou frou stuff on it. I used Bazzill cardstock, PP is the backside of the defining baseball paper, stamp is from Fiskars "batter up" and brads from Making Memories. Thanks for looking.Saturday, May 24, 2008
Cute Card Thursday challenge

Here is the card I made for the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday . The card is based on a sketch by Katharina. I used cardstock from Bazzill, the stamp is from Fiskars "batter up", I can't remember who makes the patterned paper, but it is called Defining Baseball and is still available at Mouse Memories . The brad is front HOTP and the twill/canvas baseball sticker is from Paper House productions. Thanks for stopping by.
Papertake Weekly Challenge

Here is my card for the Papertake Weekly Challenge for Monday, May 19. The challenge is to make a card using katharina's sketch #3. I used all Bazzill cardstock and the papers are from DCWV Summer Glitter Stack. If I had a surfboard stamp, I would have used that, but I used my Cricut machine and my pens instead. The starfish are from Cricut's Dreams Come True cartridge. Thanks for looking.
